ALTHOUGH WE DIDN’T SEE SHIRLEY OFTEN, WE SO ENJOYED ANY TIME WE DID GET TOGETHER. WILL ALWAYS THINK OF HER AS THE MOST CLASSY LADY. WHO ELSE COULD EVER WEAR DIFFERENT COLOR SHOES ON EACH FOOT AND MAKE IT A FASHION STATEMENT !!! WE HAVE SAVED EVERY ‘HAND-MADE’ CHRISTMAS CARD WE WERE PRIVILAGED TO RECEIVE. ALSO, SOME PRINTS OF SOME OF HER PAINTINGS THAT I HOPE TO TRANSFER TO FABRIC. HER MEMORY LIVES ON. LOVE TO ED FROM BOTH OF US.

Ed, my thoughts and prayers are with you.
It seems strange that we have shared so much over the past couple of years, live so close to each other and yet, I never had the chance to meet you or your wife. I consider that to be my loss.

Ed, there are some people we are blessed to be with and work with in our lives. I had the privilege of that with both you and Shirley. She was tireless in working for the community and her accomplishments will live on.
