My husband, Bill, and I wish to send our condolences to Ed, Stephen and Andrea-Lynn on the loss of your bright, talented and inspiring wife & Mom, and to our Aunt Lola, Gayle, and her nieces and nephews. I remember well the joy in her voice when she talked of Emma & their happy times. I have many happy memories of our times together with Shirley as children, of her artistic contributions to family, of her many trips with Ed and family to visit us in the East, and of our chats and laughs throughout the years. She has left us too early, and we’ll miss her for so many reasons.

We had only met Shirley and Ed two years ago and already thought of them as family. Our OL group is very close and we will miss her smiling face on the Naiad. This summer we will raise a glass of wine in her honour
