Relation: Dear friend
Our dear friend, Shirley, was an exceptional woman in many respects. She was a stalwart, dedicated person with intense love and interest in her marriage, and to her family and friends. During the many years that Shirley was our friend, her intelligence, knowledge and wonderful sense of humour highlighted our get-togethers on trips, the theatre, overnight visits and sumptuous meals. We are so saddened by her passing and will miss her terribly. Love, Eleanor & Alan

we met ed and shirley thru orca lab community page along with lots of other wonderful people. ed would email us aviation stuff which we loved but shirley would send something now and then that just made us smile and laugh. her love of life, nature and painting were inspirations to us. visiting was not to happen, timing between southern california and mid vancouver island could seem to be thousands of miles away. in this day and age, internet served us well. to shirley we say there are more gorgeous things to paint ahead and to ed, hang in. the memories will be as precious as gold to you now, know that our prayers and love are with you always. yes, life goes on but it takes awhile to sort it all out so you can move forward again. take your time to heal remember you have a lot of friends that are there to help, let us! shirley was a beautiful woman, you are a wonderful man, you had a long happy marriage, you two did that together! we love you and still hope to meet.
