Tribute
Winnifred (Fletcher) Fry passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Sunridge Place, Duncan, B. C. She was born in Victoria on June 5, 1914 and resided there for many years. She is survived by her husband Bert Fry. They enjoyed 51 years of married life. She was predeceased by her brother Jack Fletcher (Victoria), her sisters, Muriel Eldred (WA.) and Dorothy Currie (Victoria). She is survived by her sister-in law Jannette Fletcher (Victoria), as well as many nephews, nieces, dear friends and acquaintances.
Her funeral service will be held at H.W. Wallace Cremation and Burial Centre, 5285 Polkey Road, Duncan, B.C., at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 11, 2016, with a tea following and burial at Mountain View Cemetery. Winnifred will be remembered for her gracious manner and her kindness and thoughtfulness. Appreciation is extended to the Sunridge staff for their kind, diligent attention that was provided to Winnifred during her stay there. She will be greatly missed by so many.
