Emrick: Robert John Hilton Passed away at Acacia Ty Manor on May 17, 2012. Robert was born October 16, 1951 in Shelburne, ON. Predeceased by his father Jack, lovingly remembered by his Mom Fern of ON, sisters Gayle and Nancy of ON, Holly of Crofton, brother Mike of Duncan as well as many nieces and nephews. A special thanks to VIHA Home Support and the staff at Acacia Ty Manor for their care of Robert. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. I had the honour to care for Bob during his final few months at Acacia. At first he seemed remote, but we formed a a genuinely shared joy when the dogs would come to visit. Bob and I would form an entourage and follow the dogs all around the home both with big grins all over our faces. This opened a whole new communication. I’ll miss Bob, he was a gentle soul during the time that I knew him. and I went to work eachbday looking forward to seeing him. My condolances to your family. Sincerely, Wynne

I was one of Roberts RCA’s that worked with him at Acacia..It was a shock to me when I heard the news that Robert had passed away..Robert always had a smile for me or a big hug..He was wonderful to work with and a really good dancer..I will miss him Dearly..
