DOBSON: Richard Michael – Went to be with his Lord on Thursday November 26, 2009. Born in Duncan British Columbia on February 7, 1952. Predeceased by his father George, mother Edna and sister Deidra. His passions included family vacations, skiing, swimming and hiking with Susan and their dogs. Rick”s favorite pastime was cruising the Gulf Islands with his family on his boat. Rick loved people and had a teasing yet dry sense of humour. He will be truly missed by all those who he knew and the thousands of customers he had the privilege of serving. To the Dobson family. Rick brought much joy and laughter to everyone he met. He had a wonderful sense of humor! I enjoyed the daily teasing we gave to each other during his visits to the bank. I always gave him a hard time and asked him why he was not bringing Benny (his grand pug we called him) into the bank with him. Finally one day he brought him in, so Benny received a doggy treat and of course Rick got a candy! He will be greatly missed but never forgotten. My thoguhts are with you all at this time!

Our prayers go out to the family. We had the pleasure of knowing Rick for a short time, but his presence has left a lasting impression. His sense of humour always left everyone with a smile. You will be missed.

Rest in Peace Rick. You were a funny caring man who always took the time to say hello. I always loved hearing the Bob and Polly stories-you loved them so much and would tell any other dog lover about them. You will be truly missed.
