In Loving Memory of Myrna Lori Moodycliffe (nee Harvey)

It is with profound sorrow and deep sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved Myrna Lori Moodycliffe (nee Harvey) on Friday, July 21, 2023, at the age of 51 years. Myrna, of the small town of Isle Aux Morts, Newfoundland, was the cherished daughter of the late Eldon and Joan Harvey (nee Meade).

Myrna’s departure from this world leaves an immense void in the lives of those who knew and loved her. She will forever be remembered as the shining light in any room, her radiant smile, quick wit, and delightful personality endeared her to everyone she met. Her warm and generous heart touched countless lives, and her memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In the company of her adoring husband, Shane Moodycliffe, and their beloved son, Matthew Eldon Moodycliffe, Myrna found her greatest joys in life. As a dedicated wife and mother, her love and devotion knew no bounds, and her family meant the world to her. She shared a special bond with her new puppies, Jaxx and Milo, who brought immense joy to her life in Victoria, B.C.

Myrna’s love extended beyond her immediate family, and she held a special place in her heart for her dear sister, Verna LeFrense (Max) of Isle aux Morts, and her beloved niece, Jenna LeFrense (Mark) of Corner Brook. Their memories together will forever be treasured and cherished.

Many fond memories were created during joyful times spent up at her happy place, the lake, where laughter filled the air while playing bean bags, sitting by the pool, or gathering around a crackling campfire with friends. Myrna’s spirit was vibrant and carefree, and she enjoyed life to the fullest. A Corona in hand, she reveled in the simple pleasures that life offered.

As we celebrate Myrna’s remarkable life, we invite all family and friends to join us at the Langford Legion auditorium on Monday, the 18th of September, from 3 pm to 6 pm, to pay tribute to the woman who brought so much happiness and love to our lives.

In our hearts, Myrna’s memory will remain alive forever, a guiding light during difficult times and a reminder of the love and warmth she shared with each one of us.

Though Myrna has left this earthly realm, her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness that will continue to inspire and guide us in our lives.

May her soul find eternal peace, and may we carry her memory in our hearts forever.

Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion – Prince Edward Branch #91
761 Station Avenue
Langford, BC V9B 2S1

Monday 18th of September, 2023.
Time: 3 pm and 6 pm.

Flowers are graciously accepted or donations in Myrna’s memory can be made to the Mental Health Society of Greater Victoria. https://www.mhsvictoria.org/
