Margaret Mcbride

Tribute
Margaret passed away peacefully on 28 January 2013 at the Cowichan District Hospital. Born in Elderslie, Scotland 19 August 1928, Margaret began her teaching career in Paisley before immigrating to Canada to continue teaching Kindergarten in Toronto. She married Bill in Winnipeg in 1971 and they moved to Lumby BC in 1980, Nanoose Bay and then to Duncan. She and Bill were long-time volunteers at the Cowichan Food Bank and were faithful members of St. Edward's Church.
Margaret was preceded in death by sister Marie, brother John and her beloved husband Bill. She is survived by her brother James, Bill's children Trudy, Billie Jean, Robyn, David, Robert and Marianne. Also grieving are brother in law Jim Green, nieces Patricia, Georgina, Stacy, Megan and nephews John, Steven and their families.
The family thanks Margaret's many friends and staff at Sherwood House and our special friend Marianne for their loving support.
