Liam Davis

April 22, 1978 - December 9, 2012

Tribute

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden death of our beloved son Liam. He was a gentle giant inside and out, and he loved to laugh. He was a loving & caring son. He worked for BC Ferries for the past 11 years and would often tell us “I love my job”. He also loved camping, nature, his motorbike and animals. My last sweet memory of Liam that day was him giving our dog Paddy a bath in the tub. Left to mourn are his parents Sean & Susan Davis, his sister Shannon Davis and his aunts, uncles & cousins. Liam will be cremated & his family will have a private seaside farewell.

I’ll love you forever

I’ll like you for always,

As long as I’m living

My baby you’ll be.

Liam was a happy, positive, fun to be around guy who was taken way too soon… not sure what else to say besides I will miss him, and my thoughts are with his family and friends.

From: Chris Cowley
Relation: Co-worker

I worked with Liam for a few years while when I was in Swartz Bay terminal. I was always excited to see him on our watch. I knew my day would be a little bit brighter with that happy guy around. His smile was infectious and relaxing. I won’t forget Liam. So sorry to the family and friends. Way to young.

From: Jacob MacLean
Relation: Cousin

Whenever I thought of Liam, I always pictured a vibrant and youthful individual, who’s smile permeated no matter what the situation. As a young kid, I looked up my ‘big buddy’ Liam. Whether it was summer shenanigans at the farm, or riding on his motorbike with him up mountain roads…he knew how to light up a room just by walking into it. Liam was always an inspiration for me, keep your head up, keep smiling, and don’t sweat the small stuff. I love you, cousin! And I’ll always remember you in my heart and soul.

Love, Jacob.

To the Davis family and those that were closest to Liam,
I’m so sorry for your loss, my thoughts are with you. I know that Liam’s passing has affected many. As an old friend of Liam’s, it had been many years since we spent time together, but the memory of Liam’s smile, laugh, and the feeling of his arm around my shoulder is as present as yesterday. He was a true friend.
