Jeffrey “Todd” Lawley died peacefully at home in Duncan BC on June 21 2015 at the age of 42.Todd is survived by his wife Terri Bishop and their two children Arianna and Angus. Mother and Father Kathy and Barry Lawley, Sister and brother-in-law Jill and Mark Sampson, brothers Patrick and Chad (Delie and Ocea) and his Aunt Betty and Auntie Donna. Todd was born on October 3 1972 in Vancouver BC but grew up on Vancouver Island. Todd spent most of his adult years in Vancouver but moved back to the island shortly before his passing.Todd, a creative and talented individual, was an accomplished artist, writer and musician working in the Vancouver Film Industry. Todd was a fun loving prankster at home and at work, he loved dance parties on the table and “movie junk food nights” with his kids.A celebration of Todd’s Life is scheduled for July 4 2015 at 38 East 4th Ave , Vancouver BC at 2pm. All are welcome to attend and celebrate. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Hug A Bull Advocacy and Rescue Society. The family would like to thank the amazing nurses at the Vancouver General Hospital Bone Marrow transplant unit (15th floor) for their care and dedication and to all of our family and friends for your amazing love and support over the past several months.

Dear Kathy and Barry and family, Teri and family,
My sincere and deep condolences. I was shocked and saddened to read about Todd’s death. I have many memories of Todd and Rob playing, especially on the hill behind your home. They did have fun together. What an enormous hole this must make in your families. I hope that memories and love of family and friends will help you at this difficult time. Todd was too young to die.
