AGOPSOWICZ, James Burn (Jim)
James (Jim) Agopsowicz of Duncan, BC, passed away peacefully at age 65 on August 31, 2018 at Cowichan District Hospital.
Jim will be fondly remembered for his great sense of humour and his positive outlook on life. His strength, wit and generosity will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Jim worked as a tree faller until he was 55 and then he started a new career as an HVAC mechanic, completing two years of schooling and all required hours of his apprenticeship. Jim enjoyed the challenges of his new career immensely. He especially enjoyed getting to spend more time at home instead of being away at logging camps.
Predeceased by his father, Leon Agopsowicz, he is survived by his wife Diane, children Andrew, Emily (Sheridan), Alex and Anna, brothers John (Sandi), Jeff (Anita), sister Cheryl (Emmett) and mother Barbara as well as many nieces and nephews.
Jim’s outgoing nature garnered him many friends, whose company he greatly enjoyed but he most loved spending time with his family.
In keeping with Jim’s wishes there will be no funeral service.
