H.W. Wallace Cremation and Burial Centre Staff send our condolences to family and friends.

From: Teresa Christison (Tc)
Relation: Worked at Patterson's Automotive

My parents just called to inform me of Harolds passing. My Sincere Condolences to you and your family during this time. Harold was good guy, always smilling and friendly whenever I ran into him. Harold and I worked together way back in the early 90’s at Patterson’s Automotive, I definatly learned a lot about cars from Harold and Lee, they were my boys, I used to say and enjoyed working with them, we had some good laughs back then. Through the years when I needed tires for Orange 1970 Camaro I always went to see Harold, as I believed he was giving me a good deal 🙂 Over the years my Dad “Bruce” alway went to Harold for tires as well. Over the years, I’d always run into Harold and usually Matt, at the Beverly Corners car show or the A&W show, or sometimes at Western Speedway, Harold always made time to stop and chat about life. It’s always sad to learn of someone’s passing, especially when they are so young and with such a good outlook on life. I’d love to attend the service on Tuesday but I think I’d feel a little uncomfortable coming alone, even though I’m sure I would know a lot of people having grown up in the Cowichan Valley myself. So instead I decided to take the opportunity to send my condolence and say how I knew Harold and how he touched my life over the years, he’ll be missed next time I attend a show in the Cowichan Valley.

My sister Robin sent the message that my old friend Harold had passed away. I knew Harold, because my dad had shopped at Big O tire and Harold and I went to school together. We were great friends. I have many fond memories of the “car years” in Duncan and cruising with Harold. My heartfelt condolences to his children, his partner and his family members.
