Gurbhajan Jassar
April 8, 1959 - January 26, 2021
Tribute
It is with grieving hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Gurbhajan Jassar, 61, of Duncan, BC on January 26, 2021.
Gurbhajan was born in Jassarwala, Punjab on April 8th 1959, to late Gurdev Singh and late Kartar Kaur Jassar. He immigrated to Canada in 1972 when he was 11 years old and spent most of his adolescence and adult life on Vancouver Island in Victoria and then Duncan, BC.
Gurbhajan was a kind, gentle, fun-loving and supportive father, husband, uncle, brother and friend.
He was always smiling and told fun stories. He loved spending time with family, especially kids and young people and was a favourite uncle to many. He also enjoyed a daily visit to the pool, a walk around the neighborhood, and catching the evening news.
Gurbhajan is survived by his beautiful wife, Manjit. He was a proud father to his 3 kids Parminder (Sukhdeep), Vicky (Sonu) and Mandeep (Cody). Gurbhajan was loved by all, his cheerful attitude and bright smile will always be cherished and greatly missed but never forgotten.
