Some people only dream of Angels. We held one in our arms, Gordon Charlie was granted his angel wings on February 13, 2013. Gordon Charlie’s life was too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time. His infectious smile and laugh could melt the hearts of those around him and remove the worries of the day. Though he never spoke a word, his voice and thoughts could always be heard. He was our special Charlie Bear and we wish to thank all of the special people in his life: his preschool playmates and staff, his caregivers and special needs team, his many friends, and extended family. Gordon Charlie will be deeply missed by his Mommy and Daddy, Nana and Grandparents, Great Grandparents and many Aunties, Uncles and Cousins. A private Family Service is planned. Please join us in a Celebration of Gordon Charlie’s Life on Saturday February 23, 2013 at 38 Arbutus Street E, Lake Cowichan from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes a donation be made to the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Vancouver Island Bear Essentials Fund.
