BURTON: Gordon Wilson – Passed suddenly away at his home in Duncan on March 22, 2010 at the age of 86 years. Born in Renfrew, Ontario on June 23, 1923. Predeceased by his parents Wilson and Janey Burton; brothers Glenn, Norman and Morris; sisters, Essie, Ruby and Mina all of Renfrew, Ontario; his wife Pauline, Pepper the hound dog and Fluffy the cat. He will be sadly missed by his sisters; Nellie and Una of Renfrew; sons; Ron (Aanya), Wayne, daughter, Sherry (Gary) grandchildren; Cory and Krysten and especially granddaughter Kim (Erik); also many relatives in the Cowichan Area and Renfrew. Gordie worked at many a job, but his favorites were the railroad and longshoring where he worked until his retirement at the age of 65 years. He was a long time member of the Eagles, and Elks. He liked his hunting and fishing, hockey and baseball games. Special thanks to his best friend Fred Ramsey and good friends Richard Chaster and Bronco (deceased).
Their will be a celebration of life will be held at the Duncan Elks on Saturday April 10, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Duncan Elks or your local Diabetic Association. Online condolences may be offered at www.hwwallacecbc.com

Ronnie, Wayne, Kim & family – my deepest sympathy in the loss of Uncle Gordon. Mom and Dad visited him in 1987 and met all of you. They were so happy to finally meet you boys and they thought Kim was just delightful! Mom passed away in 2007 and Dad is gone as well so I know what you are going through. Thinking of you at this very sad time.
