Laprairei: Gerry passed away at the Cowichan District Hospital on April 3, 2011. Born in Sudbury, Ontario on June 02, 1943. Predeceased by his wife, Louise, whom he loved so dearly; they will be together again at last. Lovingly remembered by his family; children, Nicole, Chantelle, and Andrew; sister Joyce; and close friend and business partner Barry. Gerry loved to work with automibles; he ownd and operated Very Wise repairs, specializing in Volkswagons. He had his very own drag car, which he built himself and it holds the fastest naturally aspirated front wheel drive speed record. He will be missed by his many devoted customers and friendsl A celebration of his life will be held at: 5079 Culverton Rd. It was with much sadness that we learned of the passing of our friend Gerry. Over the past 8 years we must have bought and sold 8 vehicles with Gerry and he was always fair and trustworthy. Not too many folks can say that about all business dealings these days.
We will miss our times with Gerry and always remember him as a gentle kind man.
Farewell friend, we will meet again.
