Gary (Grumpy) Urton
October 14, 1959 - October 6, 2021
Tribute
Gary passed away peacefully on October 6th in Crofton. He is survived by wife Suzanne, children Laurin (Kyle), Tyrell (Carly), mother Sally, brother Kevin (Denette) and Suzanne’s family Chris (Malcolm and kids), Ernie (Nadine and kids), Rob (Megan and kids), Edith (Tony and kids), and Auntie Liz. Gary is predeceased by father Donald, father-in-law Jim, and mother-in-law Colleen.
Throughout his life he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the great outdoors. Gary enjoyed many of his years hunting cougar and deer on Vancouver Island, hunting across the province with his wife and friends, and Moose hunting in Northern B.C. with his children. He also enjoyed many fishing trips with his wife and children.
At Gary’s request there will be no service, instead he would like you to spend some quality time in the great outdoors with your people.

My heart goes out to you. I was saddened to hear the news. Gary was such a quiet sole, from the first I met him he reminded me of a friendly giant with a big smile. He will be missed by many.
