Frank Wallace Fisher

Tribute
Frank Wallace Joseph Fisher was a caring husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend. He left this world after a brief illness on 28 April 2022 at the age of 76 in Duncan BC.
Born 26 March 1946 in Belleville ON to Arthur and Theresa Fisher, the second of 5 children.
After high school, Frank joined the Royal Canadian Air Force as a Safety System Technician, then he completed the training and became a Search and Rescue Technician with 442 Squadron in Comox BC.
It was during this time that he met and married his wife, Norah. Together they had 3 children, Patrick, Cory, and Sarah.
After the RCAF Frank held many jobs, until he found his passion job, as a bus driver in Victoria BC. A 40 plus year career, that included taking part in driving competitions in Victoria, and even representing Victoria in National and International competitions.
He was also an active member of the Anglican Cursillo Community.
Frank will be honoured and interred at St Peter’s Anglican Church (5800 Church Rd) in Duncan on the 10th of May 2022 at 3 PM. Masks are required. In lieu of flowers, donations to B.C. Children’s hospital would be appreciated.

I have not seen Frank and Norah for many years but I remember them well as they were “Angels” when I first started to learn square dancing. My condolences to Norah and the rest of the family – Gillian (Bloom)
