Tribute

SWEERTS: Ed – passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Thursday September 15, 2011. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Agnes; children; Monique Bauer, Andrew Sweerts and his wife Susan, and Kevin and his wife Donna; grandkids, Garrett, Joy, Jared, Nicholas and Christopher; sisters Ineke van Eerdenburg and Ria Paagman and her husband Simon.
A Mass for Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Edward’s Roman Catholic Church, 2085 Maple Bay Road, Duncan BC on Monday September 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m.. Reverend Father Alfredo Monicelli officiant. Followed by a reception in the Church Hall and Interment in Mountain View Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. If so desired, memorial remembrances may be made in the form of a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Our deepesr sympathy to you and all the family, poor Ed had to suffer, we will remember him as a gentle man that was alway so kind. Ed did so much for the church, as chair of council i want to again say thanks to you and ed for all the worked you have done for St. Edwards in the way of music. Gerry and i are still in Calgary and won’t be able to make it back for the service, but we will remember you all in prayer.
