Tribute
Al left us very suddenly and quietly; he was a very loved man and will be sadly missed by his many, many friends and his family. He is survived by his loving mother Vicky Fortin, sister Lynn Pugh, nieces; Ashley Boughey and Christen Brooks and nephew B.J. Pugh, great niece Mia Palmiere and long time companion Denise Jory. A Celebration of Life to be held at the Cowichan Valley Exhibition Fairgrounds on December 15th 2012 at 1pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Al’s name.

I just found out about Al passing away. I didn’t normally see him in the winter months because of my work. Al was always super helpful and I am sad to hear that he is no longer here. I have been going to hillside for about 8 years and Al was one of the reasons I kept coming back. Always ready to help, always went the extra mile to make sure my projects went smoothly. I will miss him.
