Tribute
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of our Father, Brian Frederick Kidd.
Brain passed away on July 15th 2023 after a brief battle with cancer, at the age of 63.
Brian was born in New Westminster BC on the 1st of March 1960, to Fred and Pauline, 2nd to his sister Sandra. He was raised in Coquitlam and eventually moved to Vancouver Island in the late 1980’s and was married to Sandy McLeod in 1989. Brian & Sandy were married for 16 years and raised 3 children together. (Oldest – Malcolm) (Middle – Andrew) (Youngest – Marina)
Brian worked as a heavy equipment operator for over 40 years and ran every machine you could think of. Throughout his career he made a name for himself in the industry and worked all over Vancouver Island as well as the mainland. Brian loved spending time outdoors with family, hunting and especially fishing; No one could ever tell a better fishing tale than he did.
Brian was predeceased by his parents Fred and Pauline Kidd and granddaughter Melody Kidd. He is survived by former spouse Sandy Kidd, children Malcolm, Andrew & Marina, sister Sandy Weibelzahl & brother in-law Chris Weibelzahl, nephews, great nephews, great niece and many other family and friends.
Brian always loved a good party, so we will be celebrating his life with a backyard BBQ , stories, memories and of course plenty of drinks. For anyone who knew Brian please join us on Sunday August 27th 2023 at 1972 Swayne Road, Errington BC, starting at 1pm. (There will be lots of food and drinks for everyone)
