December 9, 1945 – June 3, 2018
Arlene L. Nash (Nelson) of Duncan, BC, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2018 at Cowichan District Hospital. Born December 9, 1945 in Ladysmith, BC, she is predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Claudia Nelson, of Lake Cowichan, BC.
Arlene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her husband Michael, daughter Katharine (Paul), son Christopher (Tamra), grandson Nathaniel, and brother Allan (Carol). Arlene had a great sense of humour, and a smile that would brighten anyone’s day. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A private celebration of Arlene’s life will be held this summer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of BC.
Her family extends their sincere thanks to the excellent staff at the Cowichan District Hospital for their special care and compassion.
