William ("The Duke") Dale Weaver
February 26, 1939 - December 13, 2022
Tribute
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of William Dale Weaver, loving husband, father, uncle, grandfather, great and
great-great-grandfather and brother. Born in Duncan B.C. He was predeceased by his brother Daryl in 1942, his dad, Bud Weaver in 1988, his
mom, Rene in 1995, his brother and sisterin-law, Al and Sharon Legere in 2022 and his nephew Gene Legere in 1982.
Dale is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Pat, daughter Tammy Gagne, daughter and son-in-law Shannon and Barney Edgar, son
and daughter-in-law, Darren and Heather Weaver, grandchildren Kristine, Jamie, Erin, Tracey, Laura, Chelsea, Malia, Dalton, along
with 13 great-grandchildren and 4 great-greatgrandchildren.
Dale spent his whole life in the logging industry until his health would not let him continue the work that he loved. Dale was also a long-time
member of the Legion Branch 210 and Lake Cowichan Elks Lodge 293. Thanks to Cairnsmore Place for all their care. A Celebration of life for Dale will be held January 15th, 2023, at 2:00 p.m.Lake Cowichan Community Hall.
