Tribute
ORCHIN: William Albert – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Bill Orchin while surrounded by his family, at the Cowichan District Hospital on Thursday, February 12, 2009. Born in Edmonton Alberta on November 9, 1934. Lovingly remembered by his family; his wife of 50 years June, brother Jim, daughter Johanne (Siggi), sons, Bill (Pam), Bob (Kelly), Ken (Stacey) and nephew, like a son, Jamie (Karen). Grandchildren Jason (Rhiannon), Michael, Krista, Keara, Owen, Jaimie, Matthew, Sheena, great granddaughter Bella and little dog Tinker. Grandpa will live on in the hearts and memories of his family and friends as loving, kind, and strong. He had brilliant blue eyes that flashed a smile, you always knew Bill cared. Family and friends are invited to the Crofton Community Hall, 8104 Musgrave road, Crofton BC on Saturday February 21, 2009 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

From: John & Jean Clark
Relation: Lifelong friend since grade 8
It was with great sadness Jean & I heard of Bill’s sudden passing, we shared many happy experiences in our younger days. Bill was 5 weeks older than me and I still remember the night Bill, Jim, Don and myself hotwired his dads car and drove to St Albert looking for girls. his dad caught up with us on our way back (empty handed) not a happy camper. May you rest in peace. John & Jean Clark
