Godefroy – Wilhelmina Sophia (Willie) Passed away peacefully at the Cowichan District Hospital on May 16, 2009. Born in the Netherlands on March 27, 1920. Predeceased by her husband Hendrik (Hank) in October 1988. Lovingly remembered by her children Herman (Loretta) and Antoinette (Bob) Dallimore; grandchildren; Tara (Jason) Clowers and their children Kailey and Sarah and Kevin and his son Kayden.
Willie immigrated to Canada on October 23, 1953 landing in Halifax Harbour. Moved to Mill Bay BC in April of 1957 to 1974, then moving to Cowichan Bay until 1980 and finaly settling in Duncan through the remaining years. Willie will be missed by all of her family and those whom she has touched over the years.
At her request there will be no formal Service. There will be a private Celebration of life for both Willie and Hank later in the summer. Donations in Willie’s memory may be made to the Cancer Society or the charity of ones choice. Online condolences may be offered at www.hwwallacecbc.com
