Wendy Palmer (Archbold)

Tribute

It is with profound sadness, after a courageous battle with cancer, that we announce the passing of Wendy Palmer (Nee Archbold).  Survived by her husband and life partner Lloyd Fujita, daughter Robyn of Duncan, Son David(Cheryl)Mill Bay, Daughter Vicki(Wayne) Scottland, Stepdaughters Cinamon of Duncan, Tara (Tyson)of Alberta, Nicole(Mike) of Cassidy,  Grandchildren Iain, Liam, Charley, Courtney, Brook, Jackson, Robert, Randi, Kristofer, Callissa and Kirkland and 6 Great Grandchildren, cousins and many dear friends.

Predeceased by her daughter Kim, Brother Phillip, Mother Mollie, Father Seymour and sister-in-law Donna.

Wendy spent many years running her day home, caring for many families’ children, and she loved them as if they were her own. She was also an avid member of a knitting club and spent many years creating garments out of her home-grown Alpaca and Llama wool for their company Peerless Alpacas, where she and Lloyd would take to the Saanich fair to sell. Wendy enjoyed her outings for line dancing and Zumba with her dear friends. Wendy was the light in many eyes who always found the silver lining and positive in everything; she will be missed greatly by all who were touched by her Prescence.

A celebration of life is being planned at the Shawnigan Lake Royal Canadian Legion on Sunday May 17th 1:00pm to 4:00pm

In lieu of Flowers, donations can be made to the Victoria Cancer Clinic or the charity of one’s choice.
