Wendy was a very active member of the Cowichan community, touching the lives of many with her teacjing profession and extensive volunteer work.  She loved childre, smiles, and the outdoors, and so all are invited to attend a celebration in the coming spring.

I knew Wendy through her involvement in literacy based programs in the Cowichan Valley. She was one of those rare people who had light within her, and everything she did was with enthusiasm, care and respect. Her presence will be felt.

To the MacDowell and Erickson families.
I would like to send condolences from the Dirom Family. We go all the way back to elementary school at Somenos, Wendy was a year older than me. She was always the person that was there with a smile on her face and gentle words of encouragement yet get her on the field playing hockey and she was hard working, determined and fierce. I think that is how Wendy lived her life. She will be greatly missed.
