Walter (Wally) Gordon Heslop

Tribute
Passed away suddenly at his home in Duncan, B.C. on July 12, 2014. Wally was born in Powell River, B.C. on October 31, 1950. Loving father to Lisa Sandberg (Leon), Teresa Gray (Dale), the late Donna Heslop, Christopher Heslop (Breanne) and Elizabeth Heslop. Grampa Wally to Ashlyn, Damara, Tyler, Britney, Hannah, Tanner, Brandon, Jake and Mason. Brother of Reg, Doug, Russ and Jim. Will be sadly missed by many relatives and friends. A celebration of Wally’s life will be on Saturday July 19, 2014 at 1:30pm in the New Life Community Baptist Church (1821 Tzouhalem Road), Duncan, B.C. A special thanks to the Community Support Groups that helped Wally through his rehabilitation and recovery. Online condolences may be offered at www.hwwallacecbc.com

On behalf of West Coast Men, I want to send my sincere condolences to the family and friends of Wally. I am so very sorry for your loss. I very much enjoyed my relationship with Wally and felt strongly that he was making very good progress. He recently attended our men’s weekend where he was very well regarded by other participants. May Wally’s memory be a blessing to those who knew him.

Dear Lizzy and family, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your dad, father-in-law, and brother. I worked with Walter as Community Support Counsellor in 2002 -2004? while he was settling his Iegal case. Walter was such a positive, kind loving man who loved you all very much. He was hard working and always a pleasure to work with. I will always hold his great smile with his twinkling eyes in my mind. He will really be missed because I think he always made others feel good. My Heart and Blessings go out to all of you. Cheryle
