Tribute

BOWDERY, Tracy Catharine (nee Reed)
July 1, 1964 – April 20, 2011

Tracy Bowdery passed away in Duncan on Wednesday, April 20 after a brave battle with cancer. Predeceased by her brother Douglas in 1992, she leaves behind her wonderful daughters, Georgia age 14 and Cassandra age 11, her parents Bey and Gail Reed, her sister Tammy, her brother-in-law Joe, her 3 nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, her soulmate Leah and her wonderful friends who were always there for her during her illness.
Tracy worked as a Registered Massage Therapist for over 20 years and will be missed by her many clients. She was a single mother who was totally devoted to her two incredible daughters.
Many, many thanks to Tracy’s special, unbelievably kind, devoted friends (Tracy’s angels) who spent hours by her side while she was in the hospital and the wonderful nurses and doctors at Cowichan District Hospital. A very special thanks to the many people who donated to her trust fund which will help the girls in their journey through life.
In lieu of flowers, you may make donations to a special account at the Coast Capital Savings in Duncan in the name of Tracy Bowdery “in trust”. Online condolences may be offered at www.hwwallacecbc.com

Dear family & friends,

Please accept my sincere condolences.

I did not know Tracy personally, but I do know the hurt & loss that comes from the death of a loved one.

I have found much comfort in the Bible and the hope it holds out of being re-united with our dead loved ones again in the near future.

It has been promised that soon ” a loud voice from the throne will say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Revelation Chap. 21:3-4

My prayer is that you too will find hope and comfort from this wonderful promise from our loving Heavenly Father.

Sincerely,

Ms. Debbie Turner

Dear Cassie and Georgia. I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. She was truly a beautiful person, outwardly and inwardly. I was one of her patients and she always served me with kindness and a smile. She will be remembered with great fondness. May you feel God’s comforting arms surrounding you in the days ahead.
