Timothy (Tim) Dean Osborne
April 12, 1960 - January 31, 2024
Tribute
Son, brother, husband, father, grandpa, uncle, friend.
All these words were used to describe the life of an amazing man. Tim was a humble man who became a volunteer firefighter with Sahtlam Fire Hall in July 1981. Tim moved up the ranks from firefighter to Chief. Tim was a hard worker, a great friend, an absolutely amazing husband, an outstanding father and such an awesome grandpa. He was a mentor, teacher and even a hero to some.
A few sentences here lacks in comparison to an amazing man’s life. Tim will be sadly missed terribly by those he has left behind to mourn his loss.
He is survived by wife Debbie, children Darcy (Cathy), Chantal (Dave), grandchildren Samantha, Damon, and Carter, sister Sue (Garnet), niece Lisa (Shane), nephew Clint (Laura), great nieces Skylar, Monroe – many cousins and friends.
To Tim, family was so important to him. He would move heaven and earth if it would help a lending hand – for his family, his friends, and co-workers.
Tim was predeceased by mum Audrey Osborne, dad Jim Osborne, sister Penny Wilson and nephew Gord.
There is a celebration for Tim at Sahtlam Fire Hall 4834 Lake Cowichan Road, March 9th – starting at 11am. Casual dress. For those who wish to donate – the Fire Hall is planning on having a MD Boot for donations to a charity that Tim was very passionate about – Muscular Dystrophy. All money raised will be sent to MD in memory / honour of Tim.
Rest in peace until we meet again.
Love forever, Debbie, Darcy, Chantal and Sue

A true Hero, in strength and the ability to lead. Tim was always the go-to guy and gave sound advice. Tim’s exemplary training style and guidance was a gift at the Sahtlam Fire Department. A strong Man, with a gentle side, for when it was required. It was a true Blessing to be under your wing Tim. Our Sincere Condolences to the whole Family.
