Massey, Sylvia of Crofton, B.C. passed away Monday Nov. 11th, 2019 at the age of 78, predeceased by her husband Bill in 2010. She leaves behind her children: Russ Massey & Karen Lorette (& beloved son-in-law, Kevin) as well as her treasured grandchildren: Kayla Lorette, Emily and Molly Massey. Sylvia was born in Wakefield, Yorkshire to Raymond & Evelyn Thresh. She trained as an Occupational Therapist at the University of Liverpool and worked for many years at Queen’s Park Hospital & Fellburn Care Centre. In her retirement, Sylvia dedicated many years volunteering for Harvest House Food Bank and will be remembered for her independence, strength and dry wit. No service by request. In lieu of flowers, donations to the foodbank in Sylvia’s name are gratefully accepted. www.chemainusharvesthouse.com
