June 29, 1923 - June 16, 2011

Tribute

Jackson, Sylvia (nee Hautala), born in Golden, British Columbia, on June 29, 1923. Attended Lady Grey Elementary and Secondary School in Golden. Predeceased by husband, Allan Percy on October 03, 1991, and by 3 brothers, Sam and Willie in 1982, and Mat in 1985. Sylvia was a former member of Mt. Brenton Golf Club, and former classic league bowler. She was a member and Past Matron of Sunset Chapter No.44, order of the Eastern Star, Duncan, also Miriam Temple No 4, Daughters of the Nile, Victoria, and Badoura Club in Duncan.
Survived by 5 sisters-in-law and 13 nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations to the Cowichan Valley Heart and Stroke Foundation Box 73, Duncan, BC V9L 3X1 would be appreciated. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
