Steven James Middlemiss

Tribute
With broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of Steven.
Steven is survived by his son Scott Porter (Amanda) and their children Sophia, Christopher, Spencer, and Brooklyn; and his daughter Ashley Middlemiss, and her children Isabelle, Ethan, David; his parents, Corinne and Peter de Lange; his brother Douglas de Lange (Cathy); his sister, Rebecca Bell, and his nieces Katie and Rebekah de Lange.
He was predeceased by his father Jim Middlemiss and his best dog-friends Sammy and Sasha.
Steven was fortunate to spend his last day fishing with his two closest friends, Bob and Darrell. He also loved to hunt. He loved his family dearly. Children and animals were drawn to him. Steven had a huge heart.
Steven was a helper by nature. No matter what stage of his life, or where he was, if anyone needed anything, he would do what he could to help them. He gave of his time, money, and energy to fill the needs that he saw.
Memorial Reception to be held at
New Life Community Baptist Church
Friday July 4, 2025 6:30pm to 8:30pm
