Tribute
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sharon Margaret Valin on March 13, 2026, after a recent diagnosis with brain cancer. Sharon was born in Jasper AB, to Hal & Freda Lefurgey on July 28,1946.
She is survived by her partner, Herb Dumont, daughter Christine Valin (Don), granddaughter Natasha Spence and great grandson, Dax.
She is also survived by her sister, Donna Muralt, and child hood friend Catherine Pfenning (Wayne),and extended family members. She is also predeseased by her sister, Janet Bourne.
Sharon enjoyed the last several years in Ladysmith hiking and walking with her dog Sounder, she loved everything to do with health and fitness.
She will be deeply missed by those of us that loved her.
