Sandra June Botkin

Tribute
Sandra June Botkin passed away peacefully in her home in the Cowichan Valley surrounded by the love of her family on March 11, 2024 after a long journey with cancer.
She was born to Roy and June Guenther in Waterdown Ontario, in 1950.
Sandi was loved by many, including her furry sidekick Lucy, Sandi returned that love 10-fold by opening her home to endless family gatherings and always supporting others when they needed help.
Her long career at Herman Godefroy and Associates offered her a second family amongst her coworkers and clients, a family she cherished.
Sandi is survived by and will be deeply missed by her son Trevor (Hang), daughter Krista (Michael), Granddaughters Kate Lynn (Blake) and Hannah (Kyle), great grandson Bennett, siblings Murray (Connie), Brad (Evelyn), Leanne (Ken) Darryl (Dennine) and many nieces and nephews all of whom she loved dearly.
At Sandi’s direction no service or viewing will take place, instead please take the time to remember Sandi and share a story about her with friends. A private celebration of life will occur at a yet to be determined date. In lieu of flowers consider a donation to the cancer society or a charity close to your heart.

Darryl, Dennine, Leanne, Ken and all of Sandi’s family – our deepest condolences to you all. I had the opportunity to meet Sandi a couple of years ago when visiting with Darryl and Dennine. She was such a lovely, sincere and genuine person. May all the memories you have together bring you all comfort in the days ahead.
