Tribute
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts we regretfully announce the sudden passing of our beloved son. Mourning his loss are his parents Stan and Helen and his brother Darren along with his wife Megan and their three daughters. Also many extended family members.
Ryan was born in Duncan and lived in the Cowichan Valley his entire life. He played sports in his younger years thus making numerous friends. He enjoyed the outdoors as well.
Ryan had a kind heart and a gentle soul. He dearly loved all of God’s creatures having a special fondness for cats. He enjoyed cooking and good food, a glass of beer, his smokes as well as a good cup of coffee. We remember his wonderful laugh and his powerful hug. He loved his family and we knew it. He also knew that he had our love as well. Those that know us knew that we were in touch on a daily basis.
He did struggle at times with his mental health and the family wishes to thank the community based A.C.T. Team who have been a great support to Ryan and all of us as well.
We will miss him forever and we thank everyone who has shared love and memories with us.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
