Peters: Ruth Lydia – passed away peacefully at the Cowichan District Hospital on September 30, 2011. Born in Waldhiem, Saskatchewan on January 31, 1926. Predeceased by her husband Henry and daughter Sandra McTaggart. Lovingly remembered by her family; son Brad, daughter Karen; grandchildren, Andrea, Alix, Mickey and Kirsten; great grandchildren, Cayla and Madelyn; sister Edna and brother Art.
Ruth will be remembered for her kindness and love of life. She was a loving mother and loved in return.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorial remembrances may be made in the form of a donation to the Duncan SPCA, 7550 Bell McKinnon Road, Duncan, BC V9L 6B1. Online condolences may be offered at www.hwwallacecbc.com
