I met Ross on the Queen of Naniamo when he first came to work for the ferries as a deckhand. At very first meet I could see Ross is a top notch solid person. Each day we worked together was a pleasure. Myself and my family moved off Salt Spring for almost six years and regretted not getting contact information. When we moved back I was happy to run into Ross on the Howe Sound Queen. He was always so full of life and understanding. My condolences to Ross’ s family and friends. Truly a GREAT loss.
