It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Ronnie R. Doman on the morning of December 17th, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Ronnie’s strength and resilience were admirable to many, but it is her loving personality that will be remembered most.
Predeceased by her mother, Harbhajan Kaur. Ronnie is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Jerry, children Gordon, Jaron (Genevieve) and Denesha (Mathew), granddaughters Avaya (5) and Eliza (2). Along with her father, Sirjeet, brother Darshy, sisters, Jag, Sherry, Cindy, Polly, and many nieces and nephews.
Ronnie will be greatly missed and forever loved by her husband of 40 years, Jerry, her three children and two granddaughters. Family was everything to Ronnie, her children and grandchildren were her ultimate pride and joy. Her great ability to love extended to friends who were made to feel like family through her warmth and generosity.
Ronnie’s giving spirit was truly felt by the Cowichan Valley. She was known to volunteer her time through education and sports and would reliably extend a helping hand when needed. She touched the lives of many with her bright, beautiful smile. Ronnie’s legacy will live on through her devoted husband, her children and now, grandchildren.
A sincere thank you to those who provided care and support to Ronnie and the family over the years, your kindness and compassion were greatly appreciated. A special thank you to Anne and Claudine for their devotion to Ronnie over numerous years.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in the name of Ronnie Doman to the Cowichan District Hospital Foundation.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
