Roni passed away peacefully on February 23, 2014 in Duncan, BC. Roni will be sadly missed by her family and many friends. Sincere thanks to the staff of the Cowichan District Hospital.
A celebration of her life will be held at Mill Bay Community Hall (Kerry Park Recreation Centre), 1035 Shawnigan Mill Bay Road Mill Bay on March 1, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. So sad to think that Roni will no longer be with us. Roni was such a lovely, loving, person with a warm and welcoming personality, always a joy to be around. A devoted mom, wife & family person who willingly shared her time and talents generously with others, Roni will be fondly remembered and very much missed by family and friends alike. Her valiant, cheerful and courageous disposition and genuine love for life were inspirational. Our condolences and love to David & family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with David, Ben, Roni’s family, Arthur & Mary, Lisa, Tracey and extended families. Roni was an amazing person, kind, generous, caring, funny, beautiful. I’m so glad my family had the opportunity to meet her and spend time with her and David in 2010 when we visited from Australia. Her and David made the trip magical for our boys and for my husband Darryl. We will never forget those precious memories of a wonderful lady. I have a beautiful note that Roni emailed to me just a couple of weeks before she died. She never complained and was so unselfish, only concerned with the health and wellbeing of everyone else.
