EDGINGTON: Ronald Frederick – passed away peacefully at the Cowichan District Hospital with his family by his side on Monday July 12, 2010. Born in Oxford, England on March 11, 1922. Lovingly remembered by his family; spouse Anne; children, John (Joyce), Paul (Sheila) and Joan )Al Longley); grandchildren, Ryan (Ashley), Ron, Neil, Glen and Paul (Autumn); great grandchildren, Nolan, Keisha, Draedon and Clara.
Ron served proudly in the R.A.F. and was a dedicated member of the Cobble Hill Royal Canadian Legion.
At Ron’s request there will be no service. If so desired, memorial remembrances may be made in the form of a donation to the charity of ones choice. Online condolences may be offered at www.hwwallacecbc.com

While guest at CDH a few years ago, we discovered we lived around the corner from each other. I had tea with him and Anne several times. Later I talked with him as dispatcher for HandiDART when we brought Anne home. I know she will miss that lovely gentleman. My heart felt sympathy to Anne and the family.
