Our deepest sympathy June and family. Talking to Ron was always great even when either one of us could actually hear what the other was saying. He will be missed.

Sincere condolences to June and all the family. I met “Ronnie'” when I first came to the Island in 1985. His Newfoundland sense of humor was always refreshing, I felt great respect for this honorable man. Unfortunately I will be away and not able to attend the Celebration of Life for him.

From: Betty & Ken Reese
Relation: We met at the Duncan Sr. Center, got talking about fishing & smoking salmon. Ron knew how to do it perfectly! I always tried to stop for a little chat if he was sitting alone, waiting for June. A gentle hugs & a smiling goodbuy until the next time. He was a lovely friend.
Dear June & family, I am heartbroken to know Ron is gone. He was an inspiration to many people, his cheerful stories & tales, didn’t matter what we talked about, it was a lively conversation, & jokes & laughs. He never let his illness get him down, or feel sorry for himself. You were a great man Ron, & we will all miss you dearly. Hope the fish are biting good up there! Our deepest sympathy to you june,. May the passing of time help ease your sorrows, hug close the special memories. Love & hugs, Betty & Ken Reese
