Robinette Taylor (Grinyer)

April 15, 1941 - December 29, 2014

Tribute

Robin passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family. She is survived by her husband Allan, daughter Cathy (Gilles), son Mike (Frances), granddaughters Adelle and Virginia, her brothers Charles, Steve and Jack. Robin was predeceased by her father Charles, her mother Christian and her sister Roslyn.

Robin was born in Victoria and moved briefly to Ontario with her family. After her return to Victoria, she and Allan were married in 1964 and lived for many years in the Strawberry Vale area. Robin and Allan shared an enjoyment of fishing and the outdoors before they were married. These adventures continued with countless camping and fishing trips on Vancouver Island and throughout the Cariboo Region with relatives and friends. Robin was active within the Strawberry Vale Community Hall and was a teaching assistant at the elementary school. They moved to the Mill Bay area after retirement, where she enjoyed quilting, going to Curves and spending time with her friends and granddaughters. She enjoyed annual exciting trips to Smithers to visit Mike and Frances.

The family would like to extend thanks to Faith, Gail, Dr. L. Jackson and the home care nurses for making her last days comfortable.
