Robertson (Rob) Walker Stevenson
January 2, 1936 - February 12, 2022
Tribute
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rob. He will be missed by sons Bill (Kim), Jim (Gina), daughter Niki (Kyle), wife Joy, as well as special friends Rodger and Jean.
Rob was an avid outdoors man. Some of his happiest memories were of hunting, fishing and camping trips with Bill, Jim and Rodger. In retirement he took up competitive target shooting, spending many happy hours preparing and practicing for a match.. Rob spent many years working at the mill in Crofton. At home he was a “jack of all trades”, there was nothing that he couldn’t figure out a way to build, fix or invent.
There will be no service at his request.

My deepest sympathies to Joy, Niki, Bill and Jim and their families. Rob had a wonderful personality and would help anyone. He was a great Machine Operator and mentor. I wish I could have retained everything he imparted to me as a trainee. Rest In Peace Rob. “You’re a better man than I Gunga Din”.

Good morning Joy and family,
I just received this awful news yesterday . Rob was a good friend and he will be sadly missed. I have very fond memories of the times that we had together, one unsuccessful hunting trip, numerous cups of coffee together and a few trips to the Cowichan shooting range for a bit of plinking. My sincere condolances. Rick
