Bob Piechnik
Born on August 23, 1952 passed away peacefully in the loving arms of his beloved wife on August 21, 2012.
Survived by his wife Roberta and children Jacci, Nadine and Matthew. His mother Christina, sister Teresa and brothers Frank, Andy and Mike.
He was a genuine, well respected man who loved all that God created. An avid outdoors man who provided for his family through hunting, fishing and teaching his children “survival” skills. Lessons never to be forgotten. His compassion for all was felt in all that he did. He was a doer, not a talker and showed his kindness through example. He touched so many people in such a profound way, it’s difficult to find words to express.
His love for God and his family were prevalent, until his last breathe, when he was taken to the gates of Heaven and welcomed home by our Heavenly Father.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, August 24, 2012 at Centennial Hall in Lake Cowichan from 1pm-4pm.

We are so sorry for you loss of such a loving, kind, gentle soul. Bob will be missed so much by all of you, and his immediate family, but I know that you are all so thankful for all the many, wonderful memories you have shared with him, especially the brothers. I met Bob at St Louis College and discovered we lived very close to one another,this started a close friendship that lasted until our early teens.I was very saddened to hear of Bobs passing,my sympathy to all his family.
