Robert Bruce Macdonald

Tribute
Bruce leaves behind Liz, his wife and soul mate of 57 years; children: Brian (Dale), Colleen (Rick), Heather (Paul), David (Christine); grandchildren: Shannon, Ben, Kelsey, Tyler, Trevor; great-grandchildren: Jayden, Bethany, Tiberius and Dreyden; brothers Frank and Harold, and sister Dorothy; many nieces and nephews and a multitude of family and friends who cared very deeply for him.
He has spent a combined 40 plus years serving his country in the Canadian Army (RCEME) and at Dockyard in Esquimalt.
The Legion, for over 40 years, has held a special place in his heart; as well, he has given many hours of volunteer time to various causes meaningful to him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion 9775 Chemainus Road, Chemainus, on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers a donation to “Help Fill a Dream” Foundation 4085 Quadra Street Unit D Victoria, BC, V8X 1K5 1-866-382-2711 would be greatly appreciated.
