From: Fern Holland
Relation: Long time acquaintance

My deepest condolences to Pat, Wendy, Allan, Judy and your families. It’s been many years since we’ve seen your dad in the day when he used to visit in Gleichen. I always remember him as a kind soul and a friendly man who had time for everyone. He was a man who overcame whatever life handed him – he is to be admired. Our thoughts are with you at this time and want you to know we are thinking about you.

Reg was my uncle, married to Fran Tower’s sister, my aunt. He came to the farm frequently with his children. Reg was always a kind and caring person. Although we lost touch over the years I often thought of him. I am so glad he had his wife by his side. He will be missed. I live in Hong Kong and would be pleased to hear from his children.

From: Jacqueline Keen
Relation: Reg was my father-in-law.

My thoughts & prayers are with you during this difficult time. Dad’s gentle manner was a true gift, one that I will always cherish. I am so glad I followed a nudge to contact Dad & Edna & was able to talk to both of them….. Even after the length of time we were not in contact,Reg told me ” of course you can call me Dad”.

I will cherish the memories of the years when you were my father-in-law,Dad. You have earned your place at God’s table. You will be missed here;however, your heavenly home will give you a life free of pain & God’s many blessings.

Remaining family members, cherish your memories of Dad for they will comfort you at this difficult time.

Rest in peace,Dad!!!!!
Love

Jacqueline

I have lost touch with you over the years but reading of your father’s death brought back a lot of fond memories of holidays together. I wish my dad had become a member of AA as your dad encouraged him to. He might have had a longer happier life too. Feel free to contact me.
