She was an avid golfer and was a member at Cowichan golf course for many years. She also enjoyed reading and doing ceramics at her home studio.
The family would like to thank the staff at Cairnsmore where Rae lived for the past couple of years and the staff at the Cowichan District Hospital for the wonderful care that she received.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be determined.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to BC Cancer Society.
