June 15, 1947 – December 16, 2019
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Phil. He was predeceased by his parents and brother. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Suzanne “Sam”, his devoted children, Kevin and Wanda, his adoring grandchildren, Jacob, Spencer and Cora and his sisters Charlotte, Wendy and Suzanne.
Phil served in the Royal Canadian Navy for over 25 years. He was a member of the Legion in Lake Cowichan where he enjoyed playing cribbage and darts. Phil was an avid golfer and along with Sam enjoyed getting out whenever they could.
The family would like to thank the staff of CDH and Dr. Keanan Augereau for their compassionate care and kindness extended to Phil and his family during his lengthy illness and his last few days.
There will be no service by request.
May you always have fair winds and following seas until we meet again.
