Passed away peacefully at home on April 22/2015
” My head on your shoulder, your hand in mine, one last breath and you drift away to a place without cancer. I stay behind and wish for one more night.”
Peter is survived by his loving wife Bianca, sons Danny and Jason, the family dog Beau, parents Peter & Joan, sister Letty, brother Fred, in-laws Gerrit & Truus and numerous family in Holland. Peter was predeceased by his brother Ron. Special thanks to Rose and Craig Little for their unconditional love and support.
Many thanks to all friends who dropped by with their culinary delights & support. Our gratitude and immense appreciation. To Peter's fellow car enthusiasts for their many helping hands in finishing his last build, a 49 Chrysler (Lucy Lacey). His smile as he viewed the video later that day said it all! His innate artistic ability, knowledge and creativity will be dearly missed in the classic car community. In honour of his passion for the old school art of auto restoration, we invite any classic car friends to join us in a Classic Car Tribute Ride. A Celebration of Life will follow on Sat May 9th 2:00 – 4:00 pm at 995 Chapman Rd, Cobble Hill. Please RSVP to logginn@shaw.ca for details on the Tribute Ride.

Peter, more than a decade younger than I, is none the less an inspiration and will continue to be for the many and amazing things that he has achieved since arriving on The Island. He takes with him the rare and innate ability to accomplish any task he sets his eye on. His family and many amazing creations, for me, are his legacy. I remain grateful to have been welcomed into his world.

Dearest Bianca and sons, I’m sorry to hear of your premature loss but glad Peter’s suffering is finished. I’ve also heard it said ” Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars ” so I pray you will all ultimately heal and be stronger for this test.
